White Wash Oak
My process for white wash oak staining. I apply the white oil and sand down to the wood. The white stays on the grain and the I apply a hard wax oil finish.

This is an example, of old matted French Polishing and wax finish.
Rustic Patina Grain Fleck
Water based white patina, sanded to stay on the grain and fire retarded. Lacquer finish.
